Top 10 Best Airports in the World

Top 10 Best Airports in the World

For any traveler in the world, harsh words from airport staffs, long lines at security checkpoints and overpriced fast food, the idea that any airport could be viewed as “best” may seem  to be laughable. Travelers lucky enough to have flights at any of the airports listed below, the word “best” is totally appropriate. These outstanding airports received the most votes from more than twelve million travelers who participated in a survey administered by Skytrax.

1.Singapore Changi Airport, Singapore
In the race for winning the top overall award, Singapore Changi Airport, which served more than fifty million passengers in a year, was named Best Airport in Asia and Best Airport for Leisure Amenities.

2. Incheon International Airport, Seoul, South Korea
Last year’s winner Incheon International Airport slipped to the second place. Still, the main airport serving the South Korean capital, also received the Best Airport Staff Service – Asia and Best International Transfer Airport awards for 2013.

3. Amsterdam Schiphol Airport, The Netherlands
For the first time since the Skytrax awards were issued, Amsterdam Schiphol Airport in the Netherlands broke into the top three finishers, largely due to its highly-regarded and efficient self-service transfer process.

4. Hong Kong International Airport, Hong Kong (China)
A third-place finisher for 2012, Hong Kong International Airport slipped to fourth place in the overall voting for the 2013 World’s Best Airport. Nonetheless, Hong Kong International Airport remained a favorite among the voters.

5. Beijing Capital International Airport, China
Beijing Capital International Airport only began operations in 2008 and has added passenger traffic every year. Nonetheless, the airport maintained its fifth place overall position from 2012 to 2013, and was also named the best airport in China.

6. Munich Airport, Germany
For travelers who hate the dried out microwave fare many airports offer, Munich Airport in Germany features food offerings that are a treat to the palate. In addition to scoring sixth in overall voting for 2013, Munich Airport also earned the award for Best Airport in Central Europe and Best Airport Dining Experience.

7. Zurich Airport, Switzerland
Zurich Airport also earned the 2013 award for Best Airport Staff Service – Europe. If you have ever experienced lost luggage, you will appreciate the fact that Zurich Airport in Switzerland is a perennial winner in the category of Best Airport Baggage Delivery, in addition to scoring seventh place in overall voting in 2013.

8. Vancouver International Airport, British Columbia, Canada
Moving up from its overall ninth place finish in 2012, Vancouver International Airport retained the award for Best Airport in North America. Finishing in eighth place overall in the 2013 voting, Vancouver International Airport is the only North American representative on the list of World’s Best Airports.

9. Tokyo International Airport (Haneda), Japan
Haneda took first place in the category of Best Domestic Airport, a new category for 2012, and also snagged the award for Best Airport Terminal Cleanliness. A new entry in the top ten list of World’s Best Airports, Tokyo International Airport moved up five places from its 2012 position.

10. London Heathrow Airport, England (Great Britain)
The entire airport has undergone an overhaul, with its efforts rewarded by Heathrow finally earning 4-Star Airport status in 2012. Rounding the top ten is London Heathrow Airport, earning its place on the list largely due to its highly-regarded Terminal 5, which opened in 2008. T5, as it is commonly known, also earned the award for Best Airport Terminal for the third year in a row.

Motivational Thoughts,

Motivational Thoughts

Our business in life is not to succeed, but to continue to fail in good spirit

No one is good that he has no bad in him, and no one is so bad that he has no good in him.

Positive anything is better than negative nothing

You will not do incredible things without an incredible dream

The meaning of man’s life matches the marvels of man’s labor

Life isn’t about living without problems. Life is about solving problems.

Too many people miss the silver lining because they are expecting the gold

All progress, change and success is based on a foundation of inconveniences.

Malaysian Airlines ‘Flight 370′ has been found by police in Saudi Arabia, Hijacked by Prince

The missing Malaysian Airlines ‘Flight 370′ has been found by police in Saudi Arabia, bringing to an end a 12-day search for the Boeing 777.

Prince Sahram Al-Sandshoo of Jeddah was arrested by local law enforcement agencies when the missing plane was discovered in his garden. Suspicions were heightened when Al-Sandshoo placed an advert on eBay offering a ‘Used Boeing 777 Black Box Recorder’ for sale. The Saudi authorities immediately requested a search warrant to enter his 40-acre property on the outskirts of Jeddah, the city he has princed for the past 43 years. Al-Sandshoo is a world-renowned collector of aero-memorabilia, most famous for his acquisition of ‘Wright Flyer’, one of the earliest examples of an aircraft by the Wright brothers.

In a news conference the Malaysian Prime Minister, Perdana Menteri announced, “We have finally located the missing aircraft in Saudi Arabia. The passengers are all OK and are in good spirits. Apparently the prince fed them a banquet of sheep testicles and wine. We are awfully sorry that we misplaced this aircraft, it’s a mistake anyone can make, we hope you understand. It’s been an unfortunate incident but we cannot be held responsible for thieves.”

Ahmad Jauhari Yahya, the CEO of Malaysian Airways, explained what was likely to have happened: “Whilst we cannot pre-empt any investigation, what we can say is that the plane was probably stolen whilst in flight. It’s unlikely to have landed at an airport and then been stolen behind our backs. We hear that Al-Sandshoo is an experienced pilot and most likely got into the cockpit by asking if he could have a go. We usually frown on this kind of thing, but if the man kept going on and on at the stewardesses, they probably would have allowed him to have a little go at flying  just to shut him up. We have the plane back now so no harm was done in the end.”

We spoke to one of the passengers, Mrs Josie Kevin Taylor. “I’m appalled at the attitude of the people involved. I went away for what was supposed to be a holiday and ended up staring at camels all day in an Arab’s garden. How could they call it a garden anyway? It was just sand, no grass to be seen for miles. I’ll certainly be lodging a complaint with my travel agent in Slough when I get home and I won’t be using Malaysian Airlines again after this. I’ll tell you something else for free, I won’t be using these so-called search parties again either - twelve days it took them to find us, that’s ridiculous. It’s a jumbo jet, not a flippin’ missing watch.”

We have yet to hear from the thief Al-Sandshoo yet, as he is being kept away from the media by police. We believe that the Boeing 777 was a plane missing from his collection and that was the motivation for the robbery. We hope to speak with the Prince over the next few days and will come back with more

New twist news about Malaysian Airlines MH370

New twist news about MH370

Unusual time interval.

Another  twist has came into news about  the mystery of lost aircraft
MH370. Citing two unnamed U.S. officials, the network said two
separate communications systems on the missing aircraft were shut down
separately, 14 minutes apart.

The officials told  they  that, they believe the plane’s data
reporting system was shut down at 1:07 a.m. Saturday, while the
transponder transmitting location and altitude was shut down at 1:21
a.m.If the plane had disintegrated during flight or had suffered some
other catastrophic failure, all signals — the pings to the satellite,
the data messages and the transponder — would be expected to stop at
the same time.

Now, experts are speculating that a pilot or passengers with technical
expertise may have switched off the transponder in the hope of flying
undetected.

Technical scenario

And there’s another confusing twist. An emergency beacon that would
have sent data if the plane was about to impact the ocean apparently
did not go off, the official added more. The beacons, known as
Emergency Locator Transmitters, activate automatically upon immersion
in fresh or salt water, but must remain on the surface for a distress
signal to transmit.

The failure of the beacon to activate could mean that the plane didn’t
crash, that the transmitter malfunctioned, or that it’s underwater
somewhere.

Route

The sources said it was following aviation corridors identified on
maps used by pilots as N571 and P628. These are routes taken by
commercial planes flying from Southeast Asia to the Middle East or
Europe. The first two sources said MH370′s last confirmed position was
at 35,000 feet about 90 miles (144 km) off the east coast of Malaysia
at 1.21am, heading towards Vietnam, near a navigational waypoint
called ‘Igari.’

From there, the plot indicates that the plane flew towards a waypoint
known as ‘Gival,’ south of the Thai island of Phuket, and was last
plotted heading northwest towards another waypoint called ‘Igrex,’ on
route P628.

 The Andaman Islands landing

Denis Giles, editor of the Andaman Chronicle newspaper, says there’s
just nowhere to land such a big plane in his archipelago without
attracting notice. Indian authorities own the only four airstrips in
the region, he said.

Malaysian Plane Hijacked To Pakistan

Western Media Blames Malaysian Plane Hijacked To Pakistan

US: Flight MH370 was taken hostage and taken to Pakistan.

The Boeing 777 jetliner vanished six days ago with 239 people on board. The flight left Kuala Lumpur at 4.41pm GMT bound for Beijing, but less than 50 minutes later it lost communication with air traffic control.
It is reported that the Chinese state agency released satellite images of three pieces of large debris floating in the sea near the plane’s last recorded position in the South China Sea but found nothing.

According to the media reports, the Engine data received from MH370 declared that it continued flight for 4 hours after the contact was lost from ground control.

This intention means that flight could have flown to any direction to a particular location. According to the Wall Street Journal. the plane could have travelled for another 2,200 miles to Pakistan or Mongolia.

Whereas, according to Fox news flight MH370 was taken to Pakistan as hostage. It is declared as a terrorist activity plan.

Similarly, US media has been declaring that flight MH370 was taken to Pakistan as a hostage and they are promoting  this news on different social websites. According to the analyst and experts, this is something totally illogical and without evidence.

US investigators are looking into the prospect and counter terrorism officials are investigating the idea that the plane’s transponders were turned off intentionally and the aircraft was diverted.

Similarly, other negative ideologies have been projected through the source of Fox news, in order to portray more negative impact on Pakistan.
