Local Governance and Community Development Programme
The Local Governance and Community Development ProgrammeII
is a national programme which is being implemented by the Ministry of Federal
Affairs and Local development and supported by range of development partners.
The overall objective of the (LGCDP) II is to contribute towards the national goal of
poverty reduction.
1. Post Title : Local Governance Specialist (NPPP IV)
No. of Position: 1
Duty station: Kathmandu
Duration: Annual contract and extended based on performance
Qualification:
Ph. D or Master Degree in public administration,
social/political sciences, management, economics, or related field,
PhD with 7 years of experience in local governance and/or
governance issues in Nepal or Master Degree with 10 years of experience in
local governance and /or governance issue in Nepal
Demonstrated track record of delivering high quality reports
on time
Experience of working in a national, government-managed,
programme would be an advantage.
Post Title: Programming and Monitoring Expert (NPPP III)
No. of Position: 1
Duty station: Kathmandu
Duration: Annual contract and extended based on performance
Qualification:
Master degree in social/political sciences, Public
Administration or related fields.
At least 7 years of relevant professional experience with
programme monitoring and evaluation and working in complex, government-led,
programmes in developing countries; strong analytical and writing skills and a
track record of producing high quality reports and other materials.
Professional competencies in MS word , excel 7 power point;
experience in the use of MIS.
