Kathmandu Police Chief-
SSP Ramesh Kharel is on heights of popularity these days. His works had made a
feel of more responsibleness for Nepali citizens by Nepal Police. Many people
believe that SSP Ramesh Kharel is popular only from recent days. But that’s not
the reality, he was popular because of his honesty from a decade. He had done
many positive works on his every posting made on different places. He had
almost stopped prostitution business and so called dongiri in Pokhara and his
work is still appreciated over there. During his service on Parsa district he
had created a fear in illegal workers who work on boarder side.
As a tribute to his
work, there is one movie made on his name “SP Kharel-The Real Hero”. Here is

Hero” is a Bhojpuri movie said to be made on real story based on honest police
officer Kathmandu Police Chief- SSP Ramesh Kharel. The movie is written by Deep
Narayan Sharma and directed by Raman Basnet. The movie featuring Pardeshi Shah
as Ramesh Kharel and Dolly Shah as a lead actress is already won action award.
